Música en las Montañas is an altruistic festival, founded in 2004 by British cellist and qualified Alexander Technique Teacher, Cat Jary.
From the outset, Cat envisaged this Festival could be a means to help to revitalize the culture and economy of la Alpujarra, and be an additional form of sustainable tourism in the region.
